Aalto University’s Office 365 services (like OneDrive, Teams, Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are available for all Aalto users. Office 365 is accessible any time, any device whether one is working from home or office. Familiar office tools combined with secure cloud service gives capabilities for individual or teamwork. Office 365 services can be accessed with an Aalto account.

Multifactor Authentication – What it is?
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is a method of confirming user’s identity with two or more pieces of evidence when signing on to a system or a service.
Aalto students and employees can use the Microsoft Office 365 services (includes OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) on their work and home devices.

Aalto University students and employees are provided, free of charge, with Microsoft Office 365 programs (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for their own devices (computers, tablets, and smartphones) with the Microsoft Office ProPlus programme (for students, this is also referred to as ‘Student Advantage’).
The software can be downloaded in the Office 365 online service and by using an Aalto University email address. The software can be installed on five different devices.
Microsoft Teams is the latest Aalto’s Office 365 application, and it enables efficient teamwork. Teams is available for use by all employees and students at Aalto University. Aalto has both the browser version and the desktop application, and a mobile version is available for phones.
