Access control with HSL card
Students need an HSL card or a student token for accessing many Aalto facilities e.g. student hubs. You can use your HSL card or collect an access token from Väre or Otakaari 1 lobby services and register it.

Students, make sure you have registered HSL card or collect an access token from Väre or Otakaari 1 lobby services and register it. You can use your HSL card or token after the registration as an access token.
Registering an HSL card or token
You can register your HSL card or token in self-service portal https://idcard.aalto.fi for accessing to Aalto facilities. You sign-on to the service with your Aalto account and password. You have to fill in your
- telephone number (international form)
- your own PIN code
- number of your HSL card or token.
After the registration you can access to facilities and Harald Herlin learning centre with your HSL card or token.
